The
Bangkok Post has long been recognised for its high printing and reproduction standards. Digitisation of the reproduction process, which was started in 1999 and carried on throughout the year 2000, has kept the paper abreast of new technologies.

Continuous upgrading of the pre-press equipment, which now comprises high-end scanners and desktop publishing workstations, and professional publishing software, enable the reproduction of high-quality colour publications. Hundreds of glossy-paper supplement inserts and thousands of colour pages were produced in the year 2000.

Two shifts of experienced and skilled printers and pressroom workers operate every day. Their pride is the result of hard work, a good working environment and above-average benefits.

The good printing quality for which the company is renowned is associated with meticulous press maintenance and settings and also with such high-quality materials as top-end printing inks, environmentally friendly chemicals and high-grade recycled newsprint.

Lists of subscribers, hotels, airlines, hospitals, schools and news agents are stored in the company's extensive circulation database, managed by a sophisticated computerised circulation system to ensure accurate and timely delivery services every time.

Early every morning, an army of more than 200 motorcycle-riding delivery boys and a large fleet of vans rush from the Bangkok Post building in Klong Toey to deliver newspapers to the growing number of subscribers. Their job is to ensure that the subscribers get the paper first thing in the morning, rain or shine.

The Bangkok Post is also available at leading hotels, major airlines, luxury serviced apartments and top hospitals, as well as at most newsstands throughout the country.

Besides distributing the kingdom's leading English-language newspaper, the company's circulation services also handle the distribution of such leading magazines as Economist, Elle, Elle Decor, Cleo and Thailand Tatler.
