Bangkok Career Expo 2012 plus Education and Franchises, hosted by Bangkok Post and Post Today, took place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on 6-7 July, 2012.
Hundreds of Thailand's leading companies and universities including Siam Commercial Bank, Dell, Unilever and Mahidol University came to promote job opportunities to new graduates looking to enter the job market.
The event, hosted by the Bangkok Post, Post Today and M2F newspapers, allowed job applicants to submit their resumes electronically upon registration.

"After that, all someone has to do if they want to express interest in a job is have their bracelet code scanned at each corporate booth, and their information will be sent to the prospective employer electronically," said Siriwan Piriyametakun, a senior vice-president of Post Publishing Plc.
Applicants can enter special booths to record a video presentation for review by hiring companies.

The Bangkok Career Expo was divided into three zones: Recruitment, Franchise and Education.
The Franchise zone featured information about new business opportunities for prospective entrepreneurs, while the Education zone offered information about graduate school opportunities at leading educational institutions.

"You can find information on new job positions, franchises or furthering your education," she said.
Activities include discussions by business guru Thunyawat Chaitrakulchai, actor Tony Rakkaen and Daddy Dough proprietor Peter Thaveepolcharoen.
