"Thailand’s Future Driving Prosperity”
Bangkok Post organised the 72nd anniversary "Bangkok Post Forum 2018" annual seminar on the topic of "Thailand’s Future Driving Prosperity” and received a blessing on the occasion from the late General Prem Tinsulanonda, the Privy Council president and statesman. The keynote speech delivered by Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha capped the highlights of the Forum which was held at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld on 1 August 2018.
The Prime Minister addressed the forum on the topic of “The future of all of us". He noted that over the past 72 years factual reporting has proved a sustainable business. He further noted that now that there are digital media and social media in addition to traditional media, adjustments have to be made. He made the point that the country needs media as much as it does water to make it strong.
