Elle Thailand led by Sirimon Na Nakorn (5th left), managing director of Post International Media Co, and Soraya Wattanajiamwong (6th left), editor-in-chief of Elle magazine, recently organised a press conference to announce the upcoming Elle Fashion Week 2012 Autumn/Winter at CentralWorld yesterday. Joining them are, from left, well-known Thai designers Vatit Virashpanth, Itthi Metanee, Jitsing Somboon, Chanita Preechawatayakul, Nicholas Downing of W Retreat Samui, and Nick Heath of W Bangkok.
The much-anticipated fashion event is back in top form this year. Elle Fashion Week 2012 Autumn/Winter at CentralWorld will take place from Oct 11-14 at CentralWorld Square under the concept "Get Closer To Fashion".
To stay in tune with this concept, this year is the first that Elle Thailand is making a live broadcast from the runway available on www.ellethailand.com, Dtac's Watchever application, and LED screens and Video Walls at CentralWorld and five other branches _ CentralPlaza Lardprao, Central Rama 9, Central Bang Na, Central Pin Klao and Central Rama 3.
The event also features a special two-episode series Under The White Roof _ Elle Thailand's first-ever fashion documentary, which will also be available on its website. Throughout the event, Elle Thailand will distribute 200,000 copies of Elle Fashion Week Tabloid to showcase work from the participating designers.
Pop-up stores featuring items from the designers' collections will be up for grabs from the first day of the event up until Oct 18.
