Thailand Takeoff 2018 Vision

“Thailand Takeoff 2018 Vision” was presented by an economic dream team, comprising: Dr. Somkid Jatusripitak, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Sonthirat Sonthi-Jirawong, Minister of Commerce; Mr. Uttam Sawangnai, Minister of Industry; Mr. Apisak Tantivorawong, Minister of Finance, and; Mr. Krisada Bunrach, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

The ministers joined the opening of the “Post Today Forum 2018” celebrating the newspaper’s 15th anniversary and its advance into its 16th year, held at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld on February 7, 2018. The forum delved into issues impacting Thai economic recovery and clarified how the government would implement future policies to make the Thai economy grow sustainably.

    On 26 July 2018 Bangkok Post Public Company Limited, together with Loxley Public Company Limited, Shell Company of Thailand Limited and Colgate-Palmolive (Thailand) Limited offered giant candles to the monks of Khlong Toei Nai Temple on the occasion of Buddhist Lent. The candle procession started from the Loxley building. Donated items included large candles, LED bulbs, rain showers, household medicine sets, and more.
