Bangkok Post newspaper photographer won the Isra Amantakul Awards photo contest
Bangkok Post newspaper photographer, Wichan Charoenkiatpakul, whose picture entitled “Pha Khao Ma Mud Jai”, meaning the fairest Thai sarong, won the consolation prize in the Isra Amantakul Awards photo contest, marking Reporters’ Day on 5 March 2019, at Arnoma Grand Room, Arnoma Grand Hotel Bangkok.

The Bangkok Post was recognised with two major prizes at the Society of Publishers in Asia 2016 Awards for Editorial Excellence in Hong Kong on Wednesday night.

The award to mark International Women’s Day was given by Social Development and Human Security Minister Pol Gen Adul Sangsingkeo.

Post Publishing and the Bangkok Post newspaper celebrate our 70th anniversary this year. As the oldest newspaper in Thailand, our role remains unchanged since the first, four-page edition rolled off the presses back on 1 Aug 1946.
