The year 2005 saw the Creative & Special Publications Department maintain its leading position in the production of high-quality special publications and supplements. Although there was a slight decrease in the volume of projects in 2005, as compared to the year before, publications that supported the promotion of a wide range of businesses and industries and marked their special achievements and occasions continued to be strong contributors to the company's revenues.

A significant increase was seen in the number of Thai-language and bilingual supplements, reflecting Post Today's status as the highest circulation Thai-language economic daily.

Along with an in-depth annual review of the tourism industry and a special Bangkok Post 59th anniversary supplement, the department successfully launched the 48-page "Exploring the Great Outdoors", a pocket-sized guide to Thailand's renowned adventure pursuits, inserted in both Bangkok Post and Post Today. The third edition of the successful 52-page Serviced Apartments Directory was also published. Highly popular among advertisers and the general public alike, both publications will continue in 2006.

The department will continue to strengthen its efforts to stay ahead of the competition by upgrading staff skills while enhancing product image and quality through the application of newer and better desktop publishing technologies. It will also continue to support advertising sales efforts through improved publications that will make customers happy and proud.
